The UIDAI has recently launched a unique Consumer Awareness Initiative which allows Aadhaar Holders to check how many times, and on which dates, their Aadhaar details were being used for performing e-KYC / Authentication transactions.
The process is very simple. All that the Aadhaar Holders need to do is, visit – https://resident.uidaai.gov.in/notification-aadhaar, input their Aadhaar Number and enter the Captcha Code to generate a One Time Password (OTP). This OTP will be sent to the mobile number registered with UIDAI.
On entering a valid OTP, the newly launched portal displays the number of times their Aadhaar details were used to perform Aadhaar e-KYC transactions along with the dates on which these transactions were performed. Simple!

We personally feel that this initiative would have been wonderfully useful for Aadhaar Holders if it had a facility to view the details of the entity who had performed these authentication transactions which would have allowed the Aadhaar Holders to report unauthorised authentications, if any.
